NEOLITHIC THINKER STOOL
ca. 2020Neolithic Thinker is a stool hand sculpted from red tezontle stone, a highly oxidized and porous volcanic rock endemic to Mexico. Its design draws from different historical references coming together in a syncretic form that is at once primitive, modern, pre-hispanic. Its deliberately ambiguous shape, making of Neolithic Thinker, a paradoxical entity that can be confused for art or a tool, but stands for both.
